Honeycomb sandwich is really one of the fundamentals to make a composite strong, stiff, very light, safe and have wonderful performance. materials are majorly used where high strength weight ratio, stiffness ratio needed. consist two face sheet or skin light core which can take many shapes, common hexagonal shape. The handles shear load, while skins resist compression tension. This paper aims guide design honeycomb structures done with finite element analysis software. characteristic at microstructure unit cell will be discussed Moreover, much demand on that withstand heavy loads under different working condition demand. Experimental approach time consuming costly, this created room for massive research using FEA loading response various cores thickness, in order investigate mechanical properties. study focus by researches currently commercial software’s ANSYS ABAQUS, guideline see what has been obtainable
